Welcome to the art market of Amsterdam — a vibrant meeting place where artists and art lovers come together in the heart of the city. Situated on the historic Spui, right next to the iconic Begijnhof, Art Amsterdam Spui offers an atmospheric setting, surrounded by centuries of culture and creativity. Discover art that truly touches you At Art Amsterdam Spui, artists present and sell their work themselves — straight from the studio and in direct contact with the public. This personal exchange makes every visit special. From emerging talent to established artists, and from experimental work to accessible art for the home: the market shows just how rich and diverse contemporary art is today. Here you will find ceramics, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and glass and drawing, among other things. Are you a visitor? Get inspired, engage in conversation with the makers, and discover art that truly touches you. Every Sunday from March through December (weather permitting), the square transforms into an open-air gallery full of creativity, encounters, and inspiration.
