Park Płaszów centers on Staw Płaszowski, one of Kraków's largest artificial lakes, formed from a former clay and gravel pit that gradually filled with groundwater. The area has been redeveloped with walking paths, viewing terraces, lighting, picnic tables and play equipment, making it a popular spot for walking, cycling and relaxing by the water.
