The British Optical Association Museum, part of the College of Optometrists, is the world's oldest museum of ophthalmic optics, founded in 1901 and marking its 125th anniversary in 2026. Its collection of over twenty-eight thousand items includes historic vision aids, spectacle frames, diagnostic equipment and artworks, telling the story of eye care and eyewear through rotating displays.
