Nicaraguan-American artist Dagmar Zuniga creates intimate, atmospheric music where layered harmonies, tape hiss, distorted guitars and shimmering synths collide. Recorded over five years on her Tascam 424, her debut album in filth your mystery is kingdom / far smile peasant in yellow music is a collage of psychedelic folk, experimental pop and darker, time-warped sounds. Initially shared through Bandcamp and YouTube, the album quickly gathered a following, earning over 200,000 views and an invitation to tour with Mount Eerie. Zuniga’s tactile, deeply personal approach extends beyond music into her artwork, videos and handmade tapes, creating a world that feels entirely her own. With appearances at NTS Radio and Rewire Festival, Zuniga is now bringing her sound to the stage.
