HOOD Dreaming is a regenerative concept and practice that reimagines a supportive environment for parents working in the arts who navigate their dual responsibilities as artists and caregivers. ☆☆ HOOD Dreaming As part of the Exhibition On Chewing Shoelaces: Art, Mess and Radical Kinship , HOOD for Artist Parents hosts the Workshop Hood Dreaming (Kin Kin Version). HOOD Dreaming is a regenerative concept and practice that reimagines a supportive environment for parents working in the arts who navigate their dual responsibilities as artists and caregivers. This session hosted by HOOD for Artist Parents focuses on the practice entitled KinKin - an embodied practice that explores “kinesphere” the space surrounding the body. Drawing inspiration from the playful resistance of "play fights," we test intimacy, break rules of politeness, and discover how mischief and shared efforts can open new paths to connection, collective care and expanded kinship. Open to all Flinta* parents including: (expectant) parents, fans of parents, or persons interested in topics such as caregiving and kinship. Drinks, snacks, and a relaxed atmosphere are included.
