 hursday \, October 22 at 7 pm \, taking place at Galerie Rudolfinum. The
  event is part of the Art Sounds series accompanying the exhibition Cres
 ted/mâcistan: Tanya Lukin Linklater and Duane Linklater .\nGurun Gurun\
 nFrom the very beginning\, it’s clear that coming to terms with Gurun 
 Gurun’s music and trying to make sense of it isn’t exactly easy. Is 
 this even a band? Do they play set pieces\, or is everything based on im
 provisation? On stage\, you see four men bent over tables full of strang
 e objects\, hard-to-identify electronic devices\, musical and non-musica
 l instruments\, and a tangle of cables\, as they create slowly shifting 
 soundscapes that straddle the line between melody\, noise\, and delicate
  vocal layers.\nJust like the Crested/mâcistan exhibition at Galerie Ru
 dolfinum\, in which bodies and objects intersect with elemental natura\n
