SUMMARY:Lunchconcerten in de Westerkerk
DESCRIPTION:Every Wednesday at 1:00 PM\, a lunch concert is presented in
the Westerkerk by Evan Bogerd and various guest organists. A break from
the week with the most beautiful music from the monumental Duyschot orga
 n. The organist's performance can be followed on a large screen.\n\nLunc
h concerts For many years\, the Westerkerk has hosted weekly lunch conce
rts in which the Duyschot organ excels under the hands of young top tale
nts. Baroque and Romantic music feature prominently\, with the work of J
ohann Sebastian Bach taking center stage. There is also frequent improvi
sation\, a craft that has nearly died out in the classical world. Admiss
ion is free\, as are the seats\; the Westerkerk would be very grateful f
or your contribution to the collection afterwards. Evan Bogerd\, Cantor-
Organist of the Westerkerk\, performs these lunch concerts together with
various guest organists. View the full program on the We\n\nhttps://www
