SUMMARY:Dubioza Kolektiv
DESCRIPTION:Gotobeat presents:\nDubioza Kolektiv\nDUBIOZA KOLEKTIV – On
ce upon a time (2003) in a dubious corner of the world and a land called
Bosnia and Herzegovina\, a group of friends decided to form a band. But
this was no ordinary band\, and they did not form under ordinary circum
stances. True\, along with local Balkan flavors\, musical influences cam
 e from all over the world: ska\, punk\, reggae\, electronic\, hip-hop. Y
et\, there was no music industry\, few concerts\, and no space for cultu
ral or political expression among the new crop of plugged in youth. In f
act\, the entire region was reeling from a deep moral and economic post-
war stagnation. It was from this environment that Dubioza Kolektiv was b
orn\, and not quietly\, but kicking and screaming\, presenting no-go top
ics front and center\, and demanding to be heard. In doing so\, they cre
ated a phenomenon.\nPlease note this show is 14+ (under 16s must be a\n\
