R R K brings together spatial sound, architecture and composition to create immersive listening environments. For Herz Jesu, SUBSHELL creates a site specific composition for a 14.1 spatial array, shaped by the architecture of the church. Sound moves through the architecture. Listeners move within the composition. THE ROOM IS THE INSTRUMENT.
