Der in Berlin lebende Belgier Joris Biesmans nutzt bei seinen Live-Auftritten eine Phalanx analoger Synthesizer und Sequenzer, um eine Brücke zwischen den verträumten Arpeggios der 80er-Jahre und dem modernen Club-Kontext zu schlagen. Spätestens seit seiner EP This Is The Sound Of B (Biesmans Remixes) auf Running Back steht seine Musik für eine infektiöse Synthese aus New Wave, Electro und melodiösem House. Biesmans wird sein kommendes Album „Moments Of Rapture“ bei dieser Ausgabe der Klubnacht live in der Panorama Bar präsentieren. Außerdem wird es an diesem Wochenende in der Panorama Bar, flankiert unter anderem von einem der seltenen House-Sets von DVS1. Der Maeve-Mitbegründer Mano Le Tough steht für eine subtile, oft melancholisch durchwirkte Spielart von House, die organische Instrumentierung mit elektronischer Präzision verschmilzt. Seine DJ-Sets zeichnen sich durch ein Gespür für melodiösen Spannungsaufbau aus, das stilistische Grenzen zwischen Indie-Dance und hypnotischem Deep House fließend überwindet. Ebenfalls nach längerer Zeit mal wieder bei uns zu hören ist der Franzose Shonky, der seit Mitte der Nullerjahre für einen reduzierten, auf den Punkt gebrachten House-Groove steht. Since the release of his EP This Is The Sound Of B (Biesmans Remixes) on Running Back, his music has come to represent an infectious blend of new wave, electro and melodic house. Biesmans will be performing his upcoming album “Moments Of Rapture” live at Panorama Bar at this edition of Klubnacht. Also in Panorama Bar for this weekend will boast a rare house set from DVS1. Maeve co-founder Mano Le Tough is known for a subtle, often melancholic style of house that blends organic instrumentation with electronic precision. His DJ sets are distinguished by a knack for building melodic tension that seamlessly transcends the stylistic boundaries of indie dance and hypnotic deep house. Also returning to our stage after a long absence is the French artist Shonky, who has been known since the mid-00s for a stripped-down, to-the-point house groove.
