Housed in a former communal laundry building within the Karl-Marx-Hof, this museum presents a permanent exhibition on the history of "Red Vienna" during the First Republic, covering communal housing, education, culture and the workers' movement's festive traditions. It also offers guided tours and city walks, including through the historic Karl-Marx-Hof itself.
