Housed in the historic Narrenturm, once built in 1784 to care for psychiatric patients, this museum displays the pathological-anatomical collection of the Natural History Museum Vienna. Across 19 renovated exhibition rooms in the building's former cells, it presents human pathological specimens organized to explain the history and study of disease, aimed at both specialists and interested laypeople.
