This monastery museum in Vienna's seventh district belongs to the Mekhitarist Congregation, Armenian Benedictine monks who have preserved Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage here for two centuries. Founded in 1701 and settled in Vienna since 1810, the community built its present monastery and church complex over the 19th century.
