Virgil Chapel

The Virgilkapelle is a well-preserved gothic underground chapel dating back over 800 years, accessible via a spiral staircase inside the Stephansplatz metro station. Alongside the chapel, a compact exhibition with multimedia stations tells the story of medieval Vienna, its rulers, city life and everyday inhabitants.
