Ringofen

The Ringofenmuseum preserves Vienna's last surviving Hoffmann ring kiln, a 19th-century brick-firing furnace in Inzersdorf, once one of the largest of its kind. Guided tours, only by advance booking, lead through the kiln's tunnels and explain both the brickmaking technique and the harsh living conditions of the brickworkers.
