The Marstallmuseum, housed in the historic royal stables of Schloss Nymphenburg, displays over forty carriages, sleighs and riding equipment from the Wittelsbach dynasty, documenting three centuries of courtly coach-building and riding culture. Its highlight is the coronation carriage of Emperor Karl VII, alongside the splendid coaches of King Ludwig II; the upper floor also houses the Nymphenburg Porcelain collection.
