Kitchen Courtyard

The Küchenhof is a historic courtyard of the Munich Residenz, created when Maximilian I had parts of the medieval Neuveste demolished and connected the remains to the new Kaiserhof wings via corridors. It lies east of the Kaiserhof and later saw new tracts added under King Ludwig I, designed by architect Leo von Klenze.
