Statement von Krissy Matthews: I am thrilled to tell you that vocalist and harmonica wizard Stuart Maxwell has agreed to front the tour, working with Katie’s band. Many of you will know Stuart already. He has toured Europe with Mick Ralphs (Bad Company, Mott The Hoople) and blues rock legends Storm Warning. He is still working with Storm Warning bassist Derek White (Larry Miller, Cinelli Bros, Bernie Marsden) and he and Derek recorded with the Cinelli Brothers on their British Blues Summit album. Stuart and I also toured Scandinavia together and you may well remember his son Max Maxwell, who was my amazing drummer for many years. Stuart and I did a blues show together two weeks ago and he is such a joy to work with and a very talented blues singer/harmonica/keys player. He’s also a great and entertaining front man and he’s going to love working with Katie Henry’s backing band.
