Hommage an Bram Vermeulen - Bram 80

Wird ins Deutsche übersetzt…

Bram. His first name says it all. Still. Despite his much too early passing. For he is not really dead. Forever, he remains a part of Neerlands Hoop in Bange Dagen. Classics such as 'De Steen', 'Rode Wijn', and 'De Wedstrijd' are sung. And 'Een Doodgewone Jongen', which earned him the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize. A tribute at De Kleine Komedie with Katarina Vermeulen, Sarah Janneh, Valentina Tóth, Ivar van der Walle, Kommil Foo, Ernst Jansz, and a band led by Xander Vrienten. 80 years In October 2026, Bram Vermeulen would have turned 80. Hence this tribute by the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival, featuring a selection from his extensive oeuvre. Katarina Vermeulen will be there, of course, but also Sarah Janneh, Valentina Tóth, Ernst Jansz, Kommil Foo, and Ivar van der Walle. And a band led by Xander Vrienten. It promises to be a delightful ode. For sometimes, just sometimes, work has eternal value. A source of inspiration turns out to be inexhaustible. And Bram is such a source.
