In 2026, Kwaku Summer Festival celebrated its final edition for the time being. Kwaku Summer Festival began 51 years ago as a neighborhood football tournament and has for years been a grand celebration of the identity of the Zuidoost district. For four weekends, Nelson Mandela Park is dedicated to dance, music, film, food, and, of course, football. Whether the festival will return in 2027, and in what form, is not yet known. Please note: The dates and times mentioned for 2027 are subject to change. $33
