Antología

About

Prague centre · Národní 20 · ~90 min with interval · no words · from about age 3 The video above is only a glimpse. In the room, colour arrives at once — painted objects that burn against the black, bodies you can see, and bodies you cannot. Some performers step into the light. Others dress themselves out of it, so the object seems to move alone. Both belong to the same night. A thing you have owned your whole life suddenly has a secret life of its own. Antología is our gathering of the best: eight short worlds from more than sixty years of Black Light Theatre Srnec. Not one plot. A constellation. Music and stories by Jiří Srnec. Props created by skilled hands. Humour that needs no translation. We will not tell you what each scene does. The screen can tease. The stage keeps the secret.
