About

London record label Refractions, in partnership with Lab.Club, presents a Funktion-One powered showcase of artists pushing the bounds of bass music within the UK and Europe. Skope Needing no introduction, Skope has been a fixture of the scene for the past 13 years. His music, released both under Skope and his neurofunk alias Malux, has found homes on heavyweight labels including Vision, Inspected and Eatbrain, driven by intricate arrangement and an uncompromising attention to production. Marked by the recent release of his debut album ‘Tempest’, Skope returns full-throttle to the forefront of forward-thinking bass music. Azaleh A true luminary, Azaleh’s music in many ways echoes the star from which his alias was derived. Blending the purity of light and the immensity of dark, the raw power with which he grasps emotion holds those it impresses upon inescapably within its gravity. Hailing from Berlin, Azaleh marks his UK debut with a performance embodying the spectrum of sounds and styles that undulate within his orbit. Kori One to watch, Kori has been picking up some serious steam as of recent. Off the back of his breakout flip of Far East Movement’s ‘Like a G6’ alongside rapper Nori, Kori has picked up support from the likes of Fred again.., Oppidan and SKALAH. Having spun the decks of stations including BBC Radio 1Xtra and Reprezent, and with releases on fabric records and PullUp Recordings (GemFest) under his belt, Kori is quickly building a reputation as one of the scene’s rising talents. Opening and closing the show are Refractions label boss Joe and local DJ Esther Mae respectively. Line-up: Azaleh Genres: Bass, Dubstep
