Electronic music from the afternoon until midnight at Budapest’s coolest party hub, located on the car-free Pest Lower Embankment with one of the city’s most beautiful panoramas. This is a spot you absolutely have to experience when visiting Budapest! Free entry! Live electronic music improvisations at Viadukt Bar, built around (but not limited to) analog gear. With today’s technology, a USB stick can be enough for an entire DJ set. But some musicians choose a very different approach: they build the music right there, in the moment, using synthesizers, drum machines, modular systems, vocoders and an entire table full of electronics. On October 11, three live acts will show just how different the worlds created this way can be. Ramin Sayyah A synthesizer and drum machine specialist, obsessed with analog and modular synthesis. Originally from Tehran, he moved to Budapest and regularly shares his knowledge through workshops and talks. His live sets combine the character of analog sound with contemporary electronic music techniques. YKCEB [Savas Crew] Live tekno, fully improvised on the spot. There is no pre-written script: the music is built, shaped and adapted in real time. Syngular An electrotech live act with a Kraftwerk-inspired electronic journey, electro beats and live vocoder.
