Dr. Nelida Abarca will open the door to their fascinating world, blending scientific insight with visual exploration. A hands-on microscopy session will give participants the rare chance to observe these remarkable organisms up close. The event also features a guided visit to the diatom collections of the Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin, including the renowned Friedrich Hustedt Collection. Built over more than a century, it offers a unique link between past discoveries and modern research.
