How to read these numbers
- Free
- Share of upcoming events marked as free entry by the organiser or ticket seller.
- Typical paid ticket
- The median of the lowest ticket price across paid events — half cost less, half cost more. It is the entry price, not the most expensive seat.
- Usual range
- The middle half of paid events: from the 25th to the 75th percentile of the lowest ticket price. Rare very cheap or very expensive events are left out.
- Price not listed
- Events whose source does not publish a price. They are not counted as free or paid; open the event page and check with the organiser.
- Where the prices come from
- Venue websites and ticket sellers, collected every day. Prices can change, so confirm on the ticket seller's page before you buy.
- Find the cheapest options
- Every city has "Free this weekend" and "Free this week" pages, and the event list can be filtered by price.
