Dance performance / Sound / Art installation Unfolding simultaneously as a concert, a poetry recital and a contemporary dance performance, Half-Dead-Body-Talks explores the complexity of human encounters. We borrow our shapes from a living archive. Sounds produced by the body, both voluntarily and involuntarily, are perceived and metamorphosed as music. Half-Dead-Body-Talks inhabits the space between the fragile and the enduring, searching for what remains when familiar constructs begin to fall apart. It could have been a show about ‘the end of times’ but it turned out to be a reflection on what comes after the end, grief, trust and the mechanisms of faith. Artists: Jin Chung (Art installation, Scenography) is an artist, theatre designer, and producer whose practice moves between weight and weightlessness, the earthbound and the suspended. Working across materials, from ceramic and metal to earth and the space that remains, breathing around them, she pushes, rolls, presses, and deforms, so each form keeps the trace of the force that made it. Shaped by decades of stage work, she treats that space as something lived in time. Her structures hover on the verge of falling, or of lifting. In this collaboration, she brings 2025, from the Earth Drawing series, as artwork and scenography, a raw ground where the dancers’ movements leave new marks and become part of the work. Sebastian's (Live sound) personal and professional explorations draw on a wide range of influences. His endeavours range from the classical school of jazz music, through the raw sounds of noise and punk rock, to the polyrhythmic sounds native to the Caribbean and West Africa. For this project, I approach sound from the perspective of movement. I see the dancers’ movement as something present, n the here and now, that can take many unexpected directions. This idea serves as the inspiration for creating a sound focused on low-frequency sequences and distortion. Su Sarmento (Performance) works as an independent performance artist, choreographer and dancer. Solo or in collaboration with other artists, they develop a multidisciplinary work exploring the intersection of gender, identity, belonging, intimacy and power relations. Their creations use a variety of techniques with a clear focus on the physicality of the human body and the interconnected relationship between sound, words and movement — manifesting in performances, video art, sound and visual installations. They also work as a movement facilitator, regularly teaching Contact Improvisation. Katrine Bregnum (Performance) is a Berlin-based choreographer dancer and performance artist. In her work she is drawn to the spaces between instinct, vulnerability, and the unknown. Her work explores instant composition and altered states through movement, voice, and sound. Her practice is rooted in improvisation, authentic movement, and her ongoing research into "becoming animal"— questioning learned patterns of movement, behaviour, and identity. In the last years she has been working as collaborator and choreographer in Dock11 for the Digital Lab. And aswell been producing interdisciplinary performances at Studio dB. Genres: Ambient
