Having discovered Regina Collage recently (perhaps like a lot of people!) through the beloved Do You Have Peace? label. Her newly released and incredible album ‘Horizont’ has captured alot of attention (and bookings), stringing out a kind of bedroom gaze familiar to listeners of Jabu. But Regina goes further, twining more melancholic bass lines in with pedalled out ringing, into flavours of Krautrock and avant-pop, over which her distinctive Ukrainian tongue can be heard. Real soulful DIY music from Kharkiv via Bristol!

Disclaimer! Regina has (only rightly) been booked by our lovely friends at Sagome for a show at OTO on the 11th, we’re encouraging attendance to both events with a very discounted joint/split ticket! - Cloud Management have been on our radar for a while since the release of ‘Tempentary Dance’ on that insane split 7 with Gavsborg on Phuong-Dan’s Dispari. They have since been recording and releasing their dubs on their own bandcamp and recently Digital Sting too.
Deceptive rhythms, potently psychoactive, their tunes have begun to employ the talents of vocal legends like Vivan Goldman and The Space Lady (the former getting a bananas remix by none other than our Pat Orburn!!!) As luck would have it, our hostess with the mostess, Rex Domino is in town and will be doing his wicked deeds on the mic for the band’s live set. A link up we are incredibly excited to organise and witness. - Rosa Methol is one of our favourite selectors and we’ve been trying to wrangle her for a diversion for at least a year now.
Up to her armpits in MIRE, the imitable manchester event which she’s been part of for a few years now, Rosa makes her unique way through the music we love, fringe-found dubs, dance music incepted decades apart strung together in a nuanced and heady thread. - Elijah Returneth! Taking a (very) short break between touring his live set continent wide, he will be playing a set from his amazing collection of melancholic cumbia, dub and folk oddities. If you’re not aware of Elijah’s regular Alhara radio show, its definitely a good time to check it out. - Zoe Pea kind of escapes any useful categorisation, you’ll just have to listen to their mixes. What I can tell you for sure is that they possess a razor sharp ear for the wicked and twisted. - Sinny + Heavy Petal will be doing the resident slot at the start and very end. Expect music to listen to. Challenging dance invitations. Ups and downs. Traditional and otherwise. Beatcrime sound enforcers will be loading the full tonne of boxes back into ormside for this event. It will be loud! Wig removing rig! So please bring earplugs if you gottem, they’re also for sale behind the bar. Line-up: Cloud Management, Elijah Minnelli, Zoe Pea, sinny Genres: Dub, Experimental
