Galerie Bezirk Oberbayern, located in the foyer of the district administration opposite the Haus der Kunst, has shown contemporary art since 1998 and runs two double exhibitions a year by artists based in Upper Bavaria. Since 2012 it has pursued an inclusive concept pairing disabled and non-disabled artists, with accessible programming like tactile tours and sign-language interpretation, and free admission.
