Diskusia o knihe: Animal Farm

Prekladám do slovenčiny…

NOTE: This event is hosted by Tim. He is a friend of the Language Bazaar team. Hello, dear people! In preparation for seeing ADGE’s theater adaptation of Animal Farm, we’ll get together to discuss George Orwell’s famous novella. Orwell is also the author of the well-known dystopian novel 1984. 🐷 Planning to see the play, too? If you haven’t checked out the theater event yet, have a look and join us there as well! 📚 What to read The book is relatively short, at around 110–120 pages, depending on the edition. You can find inexpensive copies starting at around €4–5. I bought this edition: ISBN 978-3-7306-1587-4. If you’d rather not buy a copy, you can also find editions online. Here’s one option: https://openlibrary.org/books/OL23269355M/Animal_Farm 💬 Everyone is welcome! No matter how confident you feel about your English, you’re very welcome to join the discussion! Attending the play is absolutely not a requirement. The idea is simply to familiarize ourselves with the story beforehand so we can enjoy the performance without struggling to follow the plot. And if you’re just interested in discussing the book, you’re more than welcome to join us, too! ❗ A small request If you can no longer make it, please update your RSVP so we have an accurate headcount. This is important because we need to reserve the appropriate space at the venue. Looking forward to seeing you all and discussing this fascinating — and still very relevant — book together!
