The Police Museum, opened in its current Mosonyi utca location in 1999, traces the history of the Hungarian police from 1848 to today and features a criminalistics (forensics) exhibition and a photo exhibit spanning past and present. The museum also holds a library and photo/film archive, and offers free guided tours and educational programs for groups by prior arrangement.
