Museum of Applied Arts – Ráth György Villa

Housed in the former villa of György Ráth, first director of the Museum of Applied Arts, this branch presents his significant private art collection amid its original Art Nouveau interiors. The building itself, redesigned by Géza Györgyi with ironwork by Gyula Jungfer and furniture by Pál Horti, was donated to the museum after Ráth's death and opened to the public in 1906.
