Biodome

The Biodóm is a major covered facility of the Budapest Zoo, spanning 1.7 hectares plus outdoor animal enclosures. From summer 2026 its central hall is set to open as a lush indoor 'urban oasis' with about 13,000 tropical and subtropical plants, exotic animals like hulmans, Bali starlings and spurred tortoises, and a 14.5-metre waterfall.
