The Schubert Geburtshaus is the house where composer Franz Schubert was born in 1797, one of the few surviving suburban buildings of that era, which once also housed the school run by his father. Its exhibition traces Schubert's life and musical work through documents, paintings and audio samples, including his distinctive glasses; the museum is currently closed for renovation until January 2028.
