The Marionette Theatre at Schönbrunn Palace continues a 250-year Viennese tradition, staging operas, operettas, musicals and fairy tales performed with hand-crafted marionettes made in its own workshops. Its productions include a child-friendly Magic Flute, Hänsel und Gretel, and various fairy-tale and ballet pieces, performed by an ensemble trained in-house.
