Porcelain Museum

The Porcelain Museum at Augarten sits in a side wing of the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory and traces 300 years of Viennese porcelain history through more than 150 exhibits, centered on an original kiln spanning both floors. Visitors follow the story from porcelain's Chinese origins and the manufactory's 1718 founding through its 1923 revival with Wiener Werkstätte-era designers, and can also handle the raw materials used in production.
