Steinhof Memorial

This memorial documents the Nazi-era medical crimes committed at the former Steinhof psychiatric institution in Vienna, where thousands of patients, including children, were killed or died from deliberate neglect between 1938 and 1945. Housed in the V-Building of the Otto Wagner Hospital, its exhibition traces the history of these events and their long aftermath through detailed chronologies and case documentation.
