Zoo Hirschstetten, located within the Blumengärten Hirschstetten, is home to more than 70 exotic and native species, from European pond turtles to Ural owls and wildcats, housed in spacious enclosures and a palm house with three climate zones. As part of Vienna's environmental education program, the zoo focuses on species conservation and public awareness of biodiversity protection.
