Eisbärenwelt is Schönbrunn Zoo's polar bear enclosure, opened in 2014, where visitors can watch bears swim underwater through a large viewing window in a 1,700-square-metre landscape of rocks and waterfalls. Its info centre, the Polardom, offers an interactive exhibition on polar bears, climate change and Arctic habitats.
