The Biosphere Reserve Wienerwald is a UNESCO-designated protected landscape combining nature conservation with sustainable land use right on the edge of Vienna. It runs events open to visitors, such as grazing action days with sheep, goats and donkeys, alongside research and education projects like bat and beetle surveys.
