Arctic Wolf

At Tiergarten Schönbrunn, the Arctic Wolf enclosure is home to a pack of these white-coated wolves, slightly smaller than other wolf species, that live and hunt following a strict hierarchy. Native to the far north of North America and Greenland, this species is locally threatened, and feedings take place several days a week.
