The Library and Archive of the German Alpine Club is the world's largest alpine library, holding more than 75,000 items on the Alps, mountaineering and mountain sports, mostly in German but also in other languages. Visitors can browse new titles and magazines in a reading room and lounge, search the full catalogue online, and borrow or reserve books via self-checkout on weekends.
