Housed in the ornate Jugendstil reading room of Munich's New Town Hall since 1906, this legal library was founded in 1843 and serves researchers with law books, statutes, commentaries and legal journals. Its gilded wrought-iron spiral staircases and balustrades make it one of Munich's most beautiful libraries, also used occasionally for readings and talks.
