Hall of Fame

Built by King Ludwig I between 1843 and 1853 above the Theresienwiese, the Ruhmeshalle houses busts of notable Bavarians, while the nearby Bavaria statue is Germany's only walk-in colossal bronze, with a spiral staircase leading up to a viewing platform in its head. From there visitors can look out over the Oktoberfest grounds through small openings.
