Giri x Rawa Club: Mexican Ambient Night Vol. IV

Překládám do češtiny…

BERLIN Join us one more time for the IV edition of our signature “Mexican Ambient Night” hosted by @giri.berlino in the heart of Neukölln on Friday 23 October If you are familiar with this series of events you know that it’s all about inviting a line up of Mexican artists and giving them the space to explore a more introspective approach to their music practice. On this 4rd edition we are glad to welcome: hotel99* aka @ddcccbb hailing all the way from the south corners of Mexico City and based in Barcelona, the musical alias of Diego Cuellar is built on experimentation, raw sampling and internet humor. Collaborator at dublab.bcn and año bisiesto netlabel and radio show founder he moves between rhythms like drum and bass, footwork and boom bap. @mermasuelo is a poet and sound artist that when djing plays with lyrics, elements of noise and all kinds of music; bringing together unpredictable mixes to tell a story. @parallelnico works in the space between weather and memory drifting through ambient, techno, and breaks moving into each other, but never settling into one. Built entirely from sampled material, as a way to keep folding the past into the present, not nostalgia but a history still in motion. And of course our cofounder and resident @djhidrataccioni , who will also be celebrating their birthday that day, will mellow in down with the ongoing investigation on screwed boleros, jazz and other reminiscing Mexican songs. Expect some good ambiente mexicano to the sounds of ambient, spoken word, downtempo, screwed boleros, cumbia rebajada, jazz, dub, hip hop and more. Come thru and have fun with us on this special autumn celebration. 18:00-00:00 FREE RSVP IN RA (CLICK GET TICKETS) / LINK IN BIO SUGGESTED DONATION AT THE DOOR (CASH/PAYPAL) BAR ACCEPTS CARD Artwork by @tegifo.studio Line-up: Dj Hidrataccioni Genres: Downtempo, Experimental
