poems sliding back to OHM on Nov 6 with some serious sway. This time, a London weighty lineup — top reps of Hyperdub and the fractured grooves of UK sound system culture. _One for the loose-limbed and love-struck_ With Genre polymath and sonic trailblazer Scratchclart channeling an era’s worth of underground heritage. His catalogue cuts through grime’s stark minimalism, UK funky and Gqom’s crushing force – while his label DRMTRK reroutes South African club rhythms down the crooked roads of the Big Smoke. Shannen SP brings a tastemaker’s instinct for connecting deep-rooted sounds with the murky currents of a next-gen dancefloor. With sets that ride Amapiano’s slow-slung pull into Kuduro and beyond, her Mzansi Bass compilation for TraTraTrax shows her as a deft curator: mapping the shadowy ground between 3-step, Bacardi and mutations of Pitori rap. Line-up: Scratcha DVA, Shannen SP, Genus Aix, dérive, pesadj Genres: Bass, Gqom
