Founded in 1878, the Ruderverein Berlin is the city's oldest rowing club, offering courses to learn rowing as well as competitive rowing, touring rowing, coastal rowing, youth rowing and indoor training. Members regularly take part in regattas and tours, and the club is based on the Havel at Brandensteinweg.
