Offene Tango-Klasse + Milonga

Wird ins Deutsche übersetzt…

You've been thinking about going to a tango night. Maybe you've looked it up, maybe you've been close to signing up - but something held you back. This is the perfect place to start. A class, a live social atmosphere, and music that will make you feel why people fall in love with tango - all in one evening. No pressure. No performance. Just you, the music, and the dance floor. This week you will learn about: **Tango & Musicality - Connect with the Orchestra** Tango is a conversation - not just between two people, but between you and the music. This class is an invitation to deepen that conversation. We'll explore how the great tango orchestras play - their phrasing, their rhythm, their character - and how to let that guide your movement on the dance floor. When you truly hear the music, your tango changes. The connection becomes something different. Something alive. This is not a class about steps. It's about listening. **What the orchestra is saying:** Every tango orchestra has a voice. Through their lyrics, their instruments, and the energy they carry, they tell a story - of longing, of joy, of nostalgia, of fire. In this class, we'll open that world up. You'll learn to hear not just the beat, but the meaning behind the music - what the bandoneón is asking, what the strings are answering, what the singer is confessing. And then - how to let all of that live in your body when you dance. **Who is this for:** All levels welcome - whether you're just finding your feet in tango or you've been dancing for years, there is always more to discover in the music. **What to expect:** * A focused class on tango musicality and orchestra awareness * How different orchestras feel and move differently * How to translate what you hear into your embrace and your walk * Followed by a Milonga - put it all into practice on the dance floor **Investment:** * €20 - class + milonga included * €15 - reduced (self-assessment) 📍 Galeria Ideal Wien - Geibelgasse 14-16, 1150 Wien 🗓 Friday, 09.10.2026 ⏳ 20:00 Come ready to listen differently.
