Tausend House: Caren Callas

Wird ins Deutsche übersetzt…

Deep grooves, expressive vocals and uplifting melodies sit at the heart of Caren Callas’s sound. Joining Tausend House at Bar Tausend, the Berlin-based DJ and producer connects the warmth of deep house with the drive of tech house, choosing records that tell a story while keeping dancers moving. Born and raised in Munich, Caren played classical piano and sang in a hip-hop and jazz band before making Berlin her home. Her early love for hip-hop and funk eventually led her towards house, bringing melody and rhythm together in a sound that is deep, driving and uplifting. Before stepping behind the decks herself, she was helping shape the nights around them. Caren spent six years as a booker at Farbfernseher and worked on Berlin Music Days for Watergate, building a connection to club culture that extends beyond performing. Her own DJ appearances now include HÖR Berlin, Fusion Festival and Watergate’s farewell celebrations. Alongside her DJ work, she is building her own catalogue with productions including “Looking for YOU,” “Look at me” and “Dancefloor Crew.” At Tausend, expect house with plenty of feeling, memorable vocals and enough rhythmic bite to keep the night moving.
