contemporary jazz, post bop, impressionism further featuring Marios Charalampous, Joy Shechter, Samuel Kiel & Chen Har-Even A new international project of Oleg Prilutskiy emerged in 2021 in Amsterdam when five students of conservatorium with original artistic visions and styles found a common "music ground" and began playing together. This project presents Oleg's view to modern jazz and shows his original compositions. In this music such jazz movements as cool, post-bop and contemporary are combined with impressionism while improvisational approach blends with classical compositional elements. The compositions are inspired by classical literature(“Quiet Flow Don” by M. Sholokhov, “Invitation to Beheading” by V. Nabokov), ancient mythology(Prometheus) and fine arts(“Saturn eating his son” by P. Rubens). The storytelling nature of Oleg’s songs gives the performances a theatrical flavour and deeply immerses the audience into stage atmosphere while jazz groove and spontaneous interaction within the band drive music energy up.
