Substation

After a long wait, SUBSTATION returns to Club AMT on November 20 for its first winter transmission, opening a new chapter after a summer of building connections and bringing Berlin’s queer underground closer together. Across two dance floors, the night draws heavily on EBM, Italo, Dark Wave, New Wave, and shades of House, Disco and Techno that have shaped queer nightlife across cities and continents . Pleasure Patterns co-founders Broccoli and Kidcat bring their shared passion for vinyl and queer community to the floor, with Broccoli exploring the darker edges of New Beat, Wave, Electro, and Synth alongside driving Italo, while Kidcat digs into obscure Disco, New Wave, and EBM. Joining them is Wrong Era and Slow Motion’s Giulia Gutterer, whose selections span Hi-NRG, New Beat, Dark Disco, and Nu Disco, uncovering forgotten gems with playful grooves and psychedelic twists. From Athens, Greta joins as a key figure in the city’s queer underground, curating SNARRL at Astron Club and co-curating GAZELLE, brining a sound built on deliberate selections, unexpected atmospheres, and an uplifting, horny bounce. Representing SWEAT, Sparkly Pony follows with bouncy rhythms and high-energy sets shaped by uninhibited dancefloor expression, carrying the spirit of the Swedish and Danish club scenes into Berlin and beyond. Emerging from Buenos Aires’ underground club circuit, Lucas Abadi brings years of experience rooted in the city’s house culture. His sets navigate between euphoria and hypnotic tension, moving through House, Acid, Breaks, Progressive, and Techno. As SUBSTATION enters its winter chapter, the invitation remains the same: come as you are, find your people, and leave room for the unexpected. Two dance floors, a new season, and another night of queer joy, freedom, and connection. In light of recent events, we’ll be raising funds at the door for Casa Kua and the Dolls of Berlin. Bring some extra coin. Line-up: Giulia Gutterer, GRETA (GR), Kidcat, Lucas Abadi, Sparkly Pony Genres: House, EBM
